The More Cam Newton I See, the more I love him.

There he is again. MY quarterback talking it up with Odell Beckham Jr. This video has popped up on my timeline multiple times today... It just was summed up so well by Portnoy that I chose his tweet to use... Watch the video.

We were all wondering the same thing about Cam... how will he fit in with Belichick? And I think Odell answers it for us in this short clip: "all he [Belichick] want to do is to put in you in a place to succeed".

Why would the current greatest coach in the NFL take a player he didn't think would fit? He wouldn't: Belichick has something up his sleeve that the rest of the league isn't ready for, and it starts with having a dual-threat quarterback. That doesn't mean I know what is going on in Belichick's mind, but what I do know is that Cam posts a larger ground threat than Brady can when there isn't an open pass but there is a running lane....

The "Elephant in the room" about Tom Brady is great too. But like I just said, Cam offers a whole different option as a quarterback. Don't get me wrong. Tom Brady is on my personal Mt. Rushmore of favorite athletes, but I'm not going to sit here and act like he is fast on his feet. Cam is fast. Faster than Brady for sure, but he is even fast compared to the average NFL player.

"Coach McDaniels, you able to call some stuff you ain't never been able to call now.... You gettin' a dawg, you gettin' one of these tiked off dawgs too." Throwback to my blog from yesterday. Cam is going to go off just because he is mad. He is going to have a kickass season and dedicate it to the haters, and the other 31 teams that didn't give him a chance this season... especially the Panthers.

PS.

His fit is DRIPPING in swagger. Cam's outfits still hittin' after one day of saying you can "old takes expose me" on that take. And I'll say it again. His outfits are going to hit until it rains cats and dogs.
