The Denver Nuggets are on the verge of history. After Sunday afternoon’s Game 6 win against the Los Angeles Clippers, the Nuggets are one win away from overcoming a 3-1 deficit once again.
After tying the series at 3-3, the Nuggets will look to advance to the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2009 on Tuesday. This will be the fourth straight playoff series for the Nuggets, ending in the best two words in sports, “Game 7.” While beating the San Antonio Spurs and falling to the Portland Trailblazers, the Nuggets took both series to 7 games in the 2019 playoffs. Then, in the first round of this year's playoffs, the Nuggets defeated the Utah Jazz in seven games. So, the Nuggets find themselves in this situation once more, with a trip to the Western Conference Finals on the line.
With 10:10 left in the third quarter of Sunday’s matchup, the Clippers had a 19-point lead and it looked like the Denver Nuggets season was coming to a close. But with a late third quarter push, led by all-star Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets found themselves within two points of the Clippers. And once the fourth quarter began, you could practically feel the momentum swing. The Nuggets took the lead and never looked back. This is not the first time this series that the Clippers have blown a late lead. In Game 5, theClippers were up by as many as 15 in the second half. But the Nuggets continue to find a way to keep themselves in this series.
Jamal Murray started the game hot for the Nuggets and finished with 21-5-5, while Jokic was the key factor to pulling out the win with 34-14-7. Other key performances from Gary Harris and Michael Porter Jr. Made this a game we will not forget.

The Nuggets continue their mission to prove the doubters wrong and that they can compete with the big city teams. After knocking off the Utah Jazz in the first round, the Nuggets began to gain some national attention that they are not here to go home early.
Now this series all comes down to Tuesday night. Who will get to face the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals? Will the Clippers reach their first conference finals in franchise history? Or will the Denver Nuggets become the first team in NBA history to overcome a 3-1 deficit?
