Return of the Heartbreak: I lost NBA, NFL, and PGA yesterday...

Sports are soooo back. We have wall-to-wall Saturdays full of College Football, wall-to-wall Sunday's full of BPL Soccer and NFL Football, the Stanley Cup finals is off and running, and the NBA playoff is coming to a close..... not to mention this past weekend we had a Major in the PGA at a course that was laugh out loud ridiculously hard.
With sports being back, I am having MAJOR heartbreaks multiple times per day.
Lets start on Saturday, for all of my Oklahoma State Football fans. We played Tulsa, and we were a 23.5 point favorite... Well, we squeaked out a win because of some questionable coaching decisions... After starting QB Spencer Sanders got hurt, Mike Gundy decided that it was time to give 3rd string QB Ethan Bullock a chance. Let me tell you, I blame him for OSU dropping 9 spots in the Top 25. Dude was clueless and didn't know the playbook. Big J's all across the state of Oklahoma were talking about how Gundy might have made a better decision by giving an Intramural QB his jersey...
Next, we move onto Sunday where Matthew Wolff had the lead over Bryson DeChambitch at Wingedfoot Golf Club in the final round of the 2020 US Open. Noted (and possibly only professional***) friend of the program, Matthew Wolff couldn't hold on to the win, but he'll have many more opportunities in the near future as he is just 21 years old. Shout out to Matt on a great weekend and the PHAT paycheck. At least Matt won what mattered, and that was the long drive. Immediately after the broadcast broke down a ~350 yard bomb by DeChambeau and how his eating habits and practice effect his monster drives, Matt dribbled one about 15 feet farther... way to stay in Bryson's head Matt!
Next, I'll talk about my Denver Nuggets. I was watching both the Nuggets and SNF between the Patriots and Seahawks last night so I didn't watch play for play on either game, but I was left disappointed in both games as they both game down to the final play.
All I'm going to say is that when the Lakers wear the "Kobe Black Mamba Uniforms" they aren't going to lose. That is not a superstitious thing, it is based solely on the fact that the NBA is rigged, and Adam Silver has to make sure the Lakers win every time they wear the jerseys that pay tribute to Kobe. The final play wasn't rigged, and credit to AD's shot, but the Lakers won't lose in the all blacks.
I love Cam Newton. He lead the Patriots offense in a mighty final drive that came down to the 2 yard line and one final play.... sound familiar? Belichick made the right decision to run the football, and it ended up no different than it did for the Seahawks when they decided to throw the football in Super Bowl XLIX... the outcome was the similar, but not the same. The defense held their ground, and won the game, but they didn't force a turnover, so I'll count that as a win for the Patriots.
