Boogie Cousins forgot how to play basketball

First of all, if you aren't following @BSDenverGino on twitter, you aren't a real Denver Sports fan, sorry.
Although this post has absolutely nothing to do with Denver sports, shoutout to me for doing numbers on this tweet.
Imagine that you are Paul George, and you go to the line, make one to go down three, and then on your second free-throw have a near perfect miss just for Dario Saric to get a lane violation. The miss was so nice that it ended up in Boogie's hands, and who knows what could've happened if Saric didn't commit the violation and what the Clippers could've done in those last 4 seconds. They really could've won the game. Anyway, Boogie was given the chance to make one and miss one, which he got 50% correct. After making the first free throw, Boogie had to miss the second and give his team a chance to rebound it and use those last 4 seconds to either tie or go up one. He did just that, and had a good miss, but forgot the rules of basketball and didn't hit the rim. The rule was literally invented for this scenario... HOW DOES A SEASONED VET NOT KNOW THE RULES? I knew this rule when I was maybe 8 years old.
The funniest part about this miss is that Boogie really though he was going to sneak one past everyone by faking a dribble and then launching it off the glass back to himself... But again, he didn't hit the rim.
With all of this being said, there is a HUGE asterisk next to this PHX dub. If a real center named Nikola Jokic was at the line in this situation and was due up for a nice miss, he probably would've converted it into a perfect pass off of the rim.
If PHX goes on to win the championship, it doesn't count. Not because of this miss, but because Cam Payne getting Jokic ejected for a "Flagrant II' in a closeout game against the Nuggets.
